What Is BioLign In-House?

In-house aligner fabrication refers to a workflow in which the entire 3D pipeline, from intraoral scan to physical fabrication, is managed within the orthodontic clinic itself. Due to increased commercial availability of the equipment and technology involved, this is emerging as an incredibly cost effective and efficient method of orthodontic treatment. Doctors who implement in-house fabrication alongside our novel treatment methods will be able to provide more efficient treatment for their patients, while boosting their clinic’s profitability.

Minimally Invasive Aligner Protocols (MIAP)

MIAP refers to Dr. Hisham Badawi’s revolutionary philosophy, whereby a patient’s natural arch form and dimensions are restored through the use of a biomechanically optimized treatment plan. Through MIAP, we have been able to double the literature predictability figures of other companies, while using a fraction of the aligners. Along with this we use absolutely zero bonded attachments, and very minimal levels of IPR (Inter-Proximal Enamel Reduction). We are able to confidently predict the outcome of orthodontic treatment, with our records indicating that MIAP treatment plans are capable of reaching up to 90% accuracy. Additionally, our treatment planning methods have been proven to help with TMD symptoms.

By leveraging Dr. Badawi’s IP, we have been able to significantly streamline in-house fabrication. As we don’t require a large number of aligners, fabrication costs are much lower. Furthermore, eliminating the need for bonded attachments and IPR frees up clinical schedules, and reduces labour expenses.

What are the benefits?

1

Up to 90% Predictability

As a result of our proprietary treatment planning methods, we are able to achieve up to 90% predictability on all vectors of movement. This is nearly double that of any other aligner manufacturer.

2

No Attachments

Bonded attachments represent a work-around that aligner manufacturers commonly use to address persistent predictability issues. Many patients are given up to 20 attachments, all of which serve no purpose. By achieving excellent predictability, we are able to treat 100% of patients without the need for any bonded attachments.

3

Greater Efficiency

Effective aligner therapy is not possible with lengthy treatments and unlimited aligners. The correct approach involves a limited number of carefully optimized aligners, each serving a crucial role in the overall desired tooth movement.

4

Minimal IPR

Instead of resorting to IPR as a first option, BioLign's approach involves addressing crown-crown collisions through an effective treatment plan, with IPR being considered only as a final solution if necessary.

What do our patients think

“Was looking for the next best thing to Invisalign and I found it here. This is way way better not a thing attached to your teeth. This has surpassed what I was looking for. My teeth are straight after 16 weeks!”

Elizabeth Swail

“In just over 6 months I have seen such a drastic improvement in my smile. The minimally invasive aligners are so clear and thin I can barely feel them. Not to mention there are absolutely NO attachments to my teeth!!"

Jaime Wolfe

“I decided to be proactive, months later, the aligners have completely changed my bite. I have always had some jaw pain, but my jaw feels amazing for probably the first time in my life!”
